Design
All of our machines are designed in-house, from the initial concept to the detailed design. We use 3D Computer Aided Design modelling packages to design the assemblies and components, right down to the nuts and bolts of each machine. This means that customising the machines or adding special options for customers is easily undertaken.
Software Writing
Edale machines are controlled by Programmable Logic Controllers and drives. The program software for these has always been designed and written in-house. There are major benefits of this, as the software can be written to our customers’ exact requirements; upgrades to the machines are easily carried out; and software updates can often be done remotely.
Technology
The technology in printing and converting machines has come a long way in recent years. Keeping on top of the latest developments is key to being able to provide state-of-the-art machinery. Our range of machinery has been designed in the 21st century and uses the latest technology, such as servo-driven technology, touch-screen operator interfaces, job storage functionality and ‘plug and play’ converting.

Edale's 50 years’ experience, along with the individual skills of qualified engineers, allows us to provide a full tailor-made consultancy service. We create value for our clients by combining our technical expertise and engineering know-how, with in depth knowledge of our customers’ products. Manufacturing
Our machines are built and commissioned in our factory, by our skilled in-house manufacturing and assembly team, who have many years of experience in mechanical and electrical fitting. We use high-quality manufactured parts and our fitting team are capable of assembling customised and standard build machines.
