Edale’s expertise in providing printing and converting machinery to label printers has led to the development of highly specialised converting equipment for a host of other industries. By responding to the needs of our customers, we have solved problems and overcome limitations in order to provide profitable answers. Around the world, our converting machines are used in many diverse industries, including: Medical, Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, IT and Automotive as well as Printing and Packaging.

Products that have been “manufactured” on Edale presses include: ostomy seals, printed circuits, filters, wound dressings, RF shields, ECG accessories and specialist food packaging. When working with clients to produce their custom-built converting machines, we are able to provide a wide variety of services. Our involvement can start right at the research and development stage and continue through to the full production environment.

We have a wealth of experience with helping clients take their newly designed products to market and create a production line to fulfil their requirements. Similarly, some of our converting machines have been developed to rationalise factory floors. A single Edale press capable of producing multiple processes in a single pass can replace multiple machines, each performing a single process.
