Edale appoints agent in Italy

Edale Ltd UK, manufacturers of narrow web printing and converting presses, has concluded a cooperation agreement with SO.MA.CA., to be its distributor and agent in Italy.

Edale provides printing and converting solutions in four market sectors, which are Commercial Security, Flexographic Printing, Converting & Coating and Digital Printing. Their machine range includes the compact, yet modular Alpha; the versatile, reliable and economical Beta; the flexible and reconfigurable Lambda and the new high-end, twin servo Gamma flexopress.

These machines can produce a variety of applications, including RFID insertion, phone cards, labels, in-line hologram insertion, lamination, scratch cards, tamper-evident labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, coating, multi-layered labels, cartons, tickets and digital inkjet personalisation. Bespoke machines can be created, and different processes can be incorporated on narrow web presses such as flexo, screen, digital and gravure print stations with in-line hologram, RFID, lamination, punching, die cutting and micro perforation.

The Company SO.MA.CA S.r.l. was founded in 1971 and is managed and run by the owner

SO.MA.CA., in conjunction with Edale, will be exhibiting at the trade show Converflex, in Hall 6P, Stand Number E 05. This is the first joint event between Edale and SO.MA.CA., and both Mr Bernhard Grob and Mr Franco Nascimbeni will be present.

Converflex 2009 takes place between 24 – 28 March, at Fieramilano, Rho, Milan, Italy, and brings together all of the technologies applicable to converting processes, cardboard processing machinery and package printing machines.
